What brings you here?

This gallery brings together cases genuinely treated at the practice, illustrating the main indications encountered in cosmetic and restorative dentistry: porcelain veneers, composite bonding, whitening, treatment of white spots, bite rehabilitation for worn teeth, gum contouring and hyaluronic acid injections. Each image is published with the written consent of the patient concerned. The aim is strictly informative: to help everyone understand what a treatment actually looks like and identify the type of situation that applies to them.

Choose what bothers you about your smile: the gallery will then show only comparable situations. Hover over an image to see the before and after.

In motion

Clinical cases
in motion

A photograph freezes a moment, whereas a smile is by nature dynamic: the translucency of enamel, the play of light, the movement of the lips, the living character of teeth in motion. The video sequences below show some cases treated at the practice in real motion, before and after treatment. This format complements the photo gallery by showing the true aesthetic integration of the result in the smile in motion, when speaking as well as laughing. Patients are anonymised in line with the requirements of medical confidentiality, and the videos are published following their written consent, in strict compliance with the ethical framework of the French National Order of Dental Surgeons (Ordre National des Chirurgiens-Dentistes).

Complex
rehabilitations

Dental laboratory model illustrating a complex rehabilitation with porcelain crowns and onlays at Dr Bruno Abehassera’s practice

Complex rehabilitations concern situations where several teeth - or even the whole smile - need comprehensive treatment: generalised wear, loss of functional height, ageing and mismatched restorations, changes to the bite. The approach combines functional analysis, digital planning, a virtual aesthetic project (mock-up) and staged treatment following a precise clinical sequence. The cases shown below generally combine porcelain veneers, onlays, composite bonding and bite adjustments. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera favours an additive, minimally invasive approach, which preserves as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while restoring the function and appearance of the smile. The overall treatment time usually extends over several months.

Porcelain
veneers

Four ultra-thin porcelain veneers made by a French dental technician for Dr Bruno Abehassera’s practice

Porcelain veneers are thin pieces bonded to the visible surface of the front teeth to correct their shade, shape, position or surface. The ultra-thin or no-prep technique, favoured at the practice whenever the clinical situation allows, involves minimal or even no enamel reduction: maximum preservation of the original tooth structure. Each case shown below follows a rigorous protocol - prior aesthetic analysis, mock-up approved by the patient, shade selection under controlled lighting, then bonding of the adhesive porcelain. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera works with a French ceramist dental technician for the layering of feldspathic and e.max ceramics.

Composite
bonding

Syringe of cosmetic layering composite in enamel, dentine and translucent shades at Dr Bruno Abehassera’s practice

Layered composite bonding makes it possible to restore a fractured, damaged or unattractive tooth in a single session, without a dental laboratory. The material is applied in successive layers that reproduce the shade, the translucency and the natural texture of enamel and dentine. This biomimetic technique is particularly suited to situations where preserving tooth tissue comes first, and is often an alternative to veneers or crowns in selected cases. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera uses different microhybrid and flowable composites depending on the clinical indication - single front-tooth restoration, closing a diastema (gap), rebuilding a fractured corner etc.

Teeth
whitening

Syringe of carbamide peroxide gel for at-home teeth whitening, used at Dr Bruno Abehassera’s practice

Teeth whitening changes the internal shade of the tooth through the diffusion of an oxidising agent (carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide) at a controlled concentration. At Mon Cabinet Dentaire in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera practises at-home whitening exclusively, using custom-made trays worn every night for two to three weeks, under clinical supervision. According to current literature, this protocol offers the best balance of benefit, comfort and durability, with limited post-treatment sensitivity and a gradual, even result. The cases shown correspond to physiological, drug-related or post-traumatic discolouration. Whitening often comes before any veneers or composite bonding, in order to stabilise the reference shade of the smile.

Icon
technique

Clinical step: applying an infiltration resin tip to a front tooth to treat a white spot

The ICON technique treats white spots and brown spots caused by early decay (white spot lesions), by enamel hypomineralisation (MIH - Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation) or by fluorosis, or appearing after orthodontic treatment. A fluid resin infiltration masks the lesion without mechanical preparation of the tooth, by capillary action into the micropores of the porous enamel. The result is achieved in a single session and fully preserves healthy enamel. The cases shown illustrate typical indications: stable, superficial spots on front teeth. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera carries out a precise differential diagnosis before confirming the indication, as not all white spots are suitable for this technique.

Central
Incisor

Stages in preparing a single porcelain restoration of a central incisor at Dr Bruno Abehassera’s practice

Restoring a single central incisor is one of the most demanding procedures in cosmetic dentistry: the human eye immediately notices any asymmetry in shade, translucency or shape compared with the neighbouring tooth. The cases shown combine photographic analysis, shade selection under controlled lighting, and execution in layered composite or porcelain depending on the indication. The clinical aim is optical integration, in other words an invisible restoration. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera relies on standardised clinical photography and an enhanced communication protocol with the French ceramist dental technician to reproduce the mamelons, the halo, the opalescence and the internal characteristics specific to each living tooth.

Hyaluronic
Acid

Syringe and vial of hyaluronic acid for injections around the mouth

Performed within the framework of a university diploma (D.U.) in therapeutic injections in dentistry (Université d’Évry, 2023), the hyaluronic acid injections at the practice target the perioral areas that have a direct impact on the appearance of the smile: loss of lip volume, nasolabial folds, marionette lines. This practice is part of an overall vision of facial harmony around the smile, never as a substitute for dental treatment but as a complement to it. At the practice in Levallois-Perret, Dr Bruno Abehassera adapts the cross-linking of the gel (low, medium or high) to the injection depth and the perioral area treated, in strict compliance with article R.4127-218 of the French Public Health Code.
